The survey also highlighted Americans' preference for mobile robots in high-risk tasks and mundane, repetitive activities. Around 82% of respondents support the use of mobile robots in high-risk tasks considered dangerous to humans. An almost equal percentage, 67.5%, are in favor of automating mundane work tasks, such as inspecting hard-to-reach equipment or managing inventory. Additionally, most believe that mobile robots performing mundane tasks could result in higher-value jobs for humans, although a third of respondents are still concerned about their jobs being replaced by robots.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Importance of training<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To address these concerns, research highlights the importance of education and training. Surprisingly, 70% of workers would be willing to participate in training or retraining programs in robotic process management and programming if they were offered at their workplace. Furthermore, 43% reported that their companies have already offered training in this area.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the survey, a whopping 59% of respondents believe that investing in robotics is profitable. Additionally, more than 50% of participants believe robotics can positively impact production (56%), efficiency (54%), and safety (51%) in the workplace.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The survey also revealed that almost half (49.5%) of respondents see automation as a growing trend. The most cited roles among participants included IT, operations, customer service, administrative\/clerical, executive and management, finance, HR, sales and marketing, consulting and others.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Demographic data also reveals a diversity of experience in the job market, with 16% of respondents reporting having less than 2 years of experience, 25% with 2 to 5 years, 32% with 5 to 10 years, 14% with 10 to 20 years and 13% with more than 20 years of professional experience. Regarding education, 74% of participants reported having completed at least some college, including graduate school, while 64% reported an annual income of $50,000 or more.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
